The price of ferromanganese (70% high ferromanganese) increased by 1,400 rupees/ton (17 US dollars/ton) at the factory in India, reaching 96,400 rupees/ton (1,154 US dollars/ton). At the same time, the price of Durgabur remains unchanged at 96,300 rupees per ton (1,153 US dollars per ton). The price increase is due to limited market supply and high production costs caused by the rise in high-grade manganese ore prices.
