The price of 70% high carbon ferromanganese has significantly increased on a week on week basis in India. The ex factory prices of Raipur and Durgapur have increased by 21,000 rupees/ton (252 US dollars/ton) and 21,800 rupees/ton (261 US dollars/ton), respectively, with prices of 95,000 rupees/ton (1,139 US dollars/ton) and 96,300 rupees/ton (1,155 US dollars/ton). Due to supply shortages and rising demand in the overall market, the price of ferromanganese has risen.
